‘That will be me one day – I’m going to be a lawyer’
Law has been a subject that has intrigued me since I was a little girl. I remember watching a television show with my mum about a court case and feeling entranced. I said to my mum: ‘That will be me one day – I’m going to be a lawyer’. It made me research, and the more I did this the more my passion grew. Since then I have looked into different areas of the law profession and found the perfect career for me. I moved away to university to study LLB law with honours at 16 years old, and it has been clear that I definitely made the right decision.
The course has many highlights. You get the opportunity to meet like-minded individuals and grow intellectually. My favourite part of the course has been analysing both sides of complex situations or problems, and devising the best solution based on strong reasoning and critical thinking through problem questions and debates.
