Second highest number of acceptances for nursing courses, despite fall in applications
The number of students accepted onto nursing courses in higher education in 2017 was 28,620, the second highest figure on record, a 0.9% decrease on 2016.
Record numbers applying for apprenticeships through UCAS’ post-GCSE service
National Apprenticeship Week is 14-18 March 2016. Students submitted 9,330 apprenticeship applications through UCAS’ service for pre-university courses – UCAS Progress – last year; up 20% on 2014.
