Summary
The University of Manchester is in the middle of its biggest change programme for many years bringing in new technology and standardisation of business processes. As co-product owners for the applications and admissions workstream we have been at the forefront of the design, development and the delivery of the changes to a vast and devolved admissions administration since summer 2017.
As we approach our go-live date of October 2021, we are working with colleagues to deliver a huge cultural change, and supporting them as we transition to the new systems and processes. We now have a wealth of experience, good practice – and some bad – to share with admissions colleagues outside of the university as we know many of you are going through similar programmes of change. Our session will focus specifically on the challenges of replacing customised systems and processes.
