Summary
This session will discuss the background to, rationale for and latest developments in UCAS’ work to develop the Multiple Equality Measure (MEM) and support contextual admissions. This will include reflections on recent trends in the data and insight into student perceptions of contextual admissions. We’ll also cover how the MEM can be used to support WP and share feedback from universities and colleges as to their usage of the metric.
Learning outcomes:
- Understanding of the MEM.
- Knowledge of current equality picture.
- Practical advice as to usage of the MEM to support WP.
