Rachael Booth is currently Principal of Leeds Sixth Form College, part of the Luminate Education Group. She is driven by the belief that every student has the capacity to excel, regardless of their background, and her focus is the development of a student’s cultural capital. Rachael has worked in the education sector for 25 years and has held leadership roles in both the FE and school sector.  She believes passionately that high quality education can transform people’s lives and has high aspirations for her staff and students. Rachael is equally passionate about her pursuits outside work, which include cooking, gardening, clay pigeon shooting, and boogie bounce, as well as the occasional spa experience.
