Jon is responsible for setting the strategic direction and ensuring the overall alignment of UCAS technology and architecture to ensure it delivers on the UCAS strategy and meets customer needs in a cost effective, cohesive and efficient way. This includes making our data and processes available to customers through both applications and APIs in support of the Product roadmaps. Jon has previously worked in a number of sectors including educational publishing at Oxford University Press delivering an online learning ecosystem, and in financial services for a number of clients, including Nationwide Building Society, as well major sector-wide initiatives such as Faster Payments and 7 day Account Switching. Outside of work Jon enjoys tinkering with technology and gadgets or will often be found running round the Oxfordshire countryside whilst also pushing his young daughter in a running buggy.
