In her current role as Associate Director Outreach, Recruitment and Admissions at the University of Bradford, Claire has both strategic and operational responsibility for the university’s fully centralised admissions function, visa support, international student support, outreach and recruitment in the UK and EU markets.

Claire has 17 years’ experience of working in higher and further education marketing, recruitment, and admissions, holding prior positions at the University of Leeds and Leeds City College.

Previously, as Head of UK and Eire Recruitment and Admissions at Bradford, Claire led a partly centralised admissions team with overall operational oversight for admissions, visa support, UK and Eire recruitment, and course enquiries. From 2009-2014, Claire managed the marketing, recruitment, and admissions function in the Faculty of Health Studies at the University of Bradford, where she gained extensive experience of building local and national partnerships with schools and colleges.

Claire is the Chair of the UCAS Undergraduate Advisory Group, Chair of the Chartered Institute of Marketing Yorkshire Board, Board Member for Go Higher West Yorkshire, Chartered Marketer and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Claire is also a Post 16 Governor at Gorse Academies Trust, with lead responsibility for Pupil Premium. A graduate of the University of Bradford in French and Spanish, Claire has postgraduate qualifications in marketing and management.
