Summary
Engineering is an extensive subject. With so many pathways available, it can be difficult for a typical 17 year old to know what field best suites their interests - let alone you!
With so many pathways, but a largely standardised set of entry criteria, this session aims to identify traits, characteristics and careers ambitions within your students that would enable them to excel in their chosen field of Engineering. The speakers will aim to demystify the degree titles, breaking down course content, and careers outcomes within these specialisms.
Learning outcomes:
- Identify two or three learning outcomes delegates will gain from attending the session.
- Greater understanding of the different Engineering degree options, course content and careers outcomes.
- Insight into the skill set/ personality traits that Universities like Nottingham welcome within different specialisms.
