Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships offer another alternative to post-18 study. It allows you to gain hands-on experience whilst learning and earning.  As an apprentice you work as a paid employee while studying for your qualification, it is a job with training built in. An apprenticeship allows you improve your skills by working with experienced colleagues. You will gain knowledge relevant to your job and add valuable experience to your CV.

Apprentices are paid at least the national minimum apprenticeship wage, £5.28 per hour (April 2023), with many employers paying more. You will work for at least 30 hours a week with your

employer. Training for your qualification will take place either at your place of work or in college, usually for one day per week.

Apprenticeships are available to start throughout the year. We offer Apprenticeships from Levels 2 through to Level 7.
