The Annual Conference for Teachers and Advisers 2023

We often hear that universities want to support students from under-represented groups in accessing higher education. But what do universities actually mean by under-represented students? And what support is available for these individuals? This session will support teachers and advisers in identifying who the under-represented students in their school or college are, explain the different types of pre- and post-entry support available, and provide some examples on how to support these learners with the decisions and actions related to applying to university.
